That practice is currently the Douglas and Mork Chiropractic Office S.C.

Steve Douglas was a great guy. He was funny, a big prankster, crazy, and so full of life. I last saw Steve while playing ice hockey on Brockway's Pond while he was student at Palmer. He was taking his studies very seriously and facing life with a seriousness I never saw in him before. I spoke with his father years later in Bettendorf and he reported Steve was a loving father and good husband.  Steve had taken up rodeo riding with his son. They would travel to rodeo events together and they did it with a lot of enthusiasm. It was the perfect sport for the wild and crazy Steve we all knew at BHS.

This announcement brought tears to my eyes. I went to Sweetheart's Dance with Steve our freshman year. I remember the little lace formal my mom made me.  He gave me a necklace with little heart all the way around it.  I still have it and wear it every Valentines Day. It is very sad to here that he has passed.  He was always a gentleman.  The last time I saw him was at our 10 year class reunion.  He was attending with his cute little wife, Dru.  They were so happy - the perfect couple. He will be missed by many.
