Rolf “Pinky” August Anderson, 62, of Kihei, passed away on January 30, 2017. He was born on May 26, 1954 in Davenport, Iowa.

“Pinky” began his career in restaurant sales with Hockenberg Fixture & Supply Co, Davenport, Iowa. He moved to Hawaii in 1988 and continued his career with Tradewinds Supply, Lihue, Hawai’i and later with Pacific Restaurant Supply, Wailuku, Hawai’i.

“Pinky” enjoyed golfing, telling a good story, eating a good meal, working hard for his customers, and loving his family.

“Pinky” is survived by his daughter Bond Anderson, sisters Mary (Jeff) Stolze, Judy Simcox, nieces Jana (Andy) Lehman, Erin (Ben) Busha, nephews Zach Anderson-Clausen and Scott (Arnell) Ernst and step-mother JoAnne Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents Jan and Bert Anderson and his sister Kris Anderson-Clausen.
