Steven was born November 20, 1954, in Pana, Ill., to Stanley and Beatrice Summers. He married Connie S. Edwards January 26, 1986, in Davenport. He was employed in sales with R.R. Donnelly, of Eldridge, Iowa, for 28 years. He was a member of Temple Emmanuel in Davenport. He coached Little League and Pony League, and was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed following his children's sports activities. Survivors include his wife, Connie; two sons, Statton J. Summers, of Iowa City, Iowa, and Harrison S. Summers, of Davenport.
