While I was serving in Washington D.C. as the national liaison to the White House, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal Cancer and went home to heaven 16 months later (March 22, 2011) and joined my granddaughter Abigail.

Now enjoying living in the Chicago area - near both of my girls and my grands!

Backing my car into the flagpole at the old campus in front of the buses headed down to the annex. Then “friends” on the bus told my Dad who was teaching AP English. Thanks a lot!! 🤣🤣👏👏😬🎈
